About us

Silsand began as a small ice cream kiosk, built on a love of quality ingredients and real craftsmanship. One kiosk became two, and production grew along with demand.

Today, we make gelato and sorbet in Drammen. At silsand.com, you can explore our flavours and available sizes. Our current range for private and business customers consists of gelato and sorbet.

In 2025, we also began making our own chocolate. Through Roasteriet Drammen, we roast coffee in small batches. Whether we are making ice cream, chocolate or coffee, flavour comes first.

Our kiosks remain an important part of who we are. Every summer, young team members gain their first work experience at Silsand, learning craftsmanship, service and pride in their work.

Our kiosks are closed for the season. We look forward to welcoming you back in May 2027.
